New Home - Auckland, NZDec 31st 2005 - Jan 2006
Hello, jus over 2 weeks ive been here now,settling in alrite.auckland is a cool city,n its much better bein here in summer than wen i was here before back in july! the weather has been great too,getting into the 30's most days and theres been very little rain. i'm still without a job but ive got all the bank stuff sorted so now i'm waiting to hear back from jobs i have applied for..also still looking just incase!! ive gone for various jobs really, i might try make use of my diploma in travel so some jobs r travel related! other jobs are warehouse/delivery jobs!! i'll see what happens... my little flat is cool, its like a granny-flat above amandas family home,got a spacious living area with kitchen and a decent ensuite bedroom. and the best bit is the balcony which gets the sun all day so its nice to chill out there with a drink! i've got use of amandas mums car too so its good to be behind the wheel again after such a long time! also ive been taking morning runs every other day with amandas brother,so i'm aiming to get fit in time to play for a local football team when the season starts in april! i got some tidy boots today actually,theyr well smart =) also i'm taking up tennis so i need to try join one of the local clubs...with it being tennis season here its got me very much in the mood!!
i might be going to america/canada in summer '07 as amanda has family there with her dad being canadian. so that'll be really cool if that comes off!
havnt been upto alot else really except gone the beach and met a few of amandas friends, they r mad lol! and i've met up with an old friend who i did banana picking with in australia back in september,and while i was waiting for her in the city i randomly bumped into another old traveller friend from scotland who i was apple picking with in western australia all the way back in may!! was so weird!!!
